Parking

The parking system combines access control, monitoring and toll collection. The system can be configured in different packages.


Cameras recognize license plates and the information is fed into a central system that manages all visits. Overviews and other information are accessible in a control panel in the locked area of the administrator.


Various configurations are available in the system and we provide advice on the most efficient and cost-effective way for each installation.


Profit

In collaboration with Stefna Software, a reseller of data from the Icelandic Transport Authority's Vehicle Registry, license plates are automatically looked up using image analysis. Drivers can then pay for their visit online, at a payment machine (if installed). Payment machines are custom-built with the goal of withstanding Icelandic weather conditions and simplicity in interface.


There is a direct connection to the accounting system and Kvasir has collaborated with DK software, which has proven very successful for our customers.

Services and operations

Kvasir puts a lot of effort into service and offers several options. Everything from the customer being completely self-sufficient to Kvasir taking full care of the parking lot. This applies to communication with parties who use the parking lots, everything related to equipment, accounting and billing.


In the service agreement, you can assess what is appropriate in each case; a fixed monthly fee, a percentage of revenue, or a combination of the two. The final operating cost depends on the environment that is set up at each time.

Access control

Management may vary between parking lots. Opening of gates and doors or monitoring and fines.


Kvasir has an app that runs on a tablet and allows parties using the parking lot to log in to different parties and then be allocated a time for a visit without payment. This solution is well suited for parking lots at office buildings that are jointly owned by several parties. The system can be configured in many ways and each party has an overview of its guests. This way, companies can offer their customers and guests free use by registering license plates at the reception, for example.


Toll collection

Kvasir custom-builds payment machines with the goal of withstanding Icelandic weather conditions and simplicity in interface. The payment machine software can be tailored to suit each individual situation.


There is also a connection to major POS terminals, including the UX POS from Verifone, which is well suited for outdoor payment machines.


RentalRelay

Kvasir has a connection to the RentalRelay system, which is responsible for sending information to car rental companies directly to the customer when a fine needs to be collected for rental cars. Such a connection greatly increases efficiency and the collection of fines (when a user has not paid for parking in payment machine or online).
